Washington State RFI

I will be in Seattle next weekend and will have a couple of days to look for mammals.  Does anyone have any tips for good spots for any of the NW endemics within a few hours of Seattle where animals might be active in February? 

And are there any Northern Fur Seals in the area?

    I have never been to Seattle, so take this with a grain of salt, but the area should be outside the normal distribution of Northern Fur Seals. I would suppose they would be quite possible on a pelagic, but would not be very likely to see from land. Steller’s Sea Lions should be around though, as well as Harbor seals. Last I heard, there were also boat tours to see the local Killer whales.
