Bat ID, Danum Valley Field Center.

This bat landed near me and I was able to take 2 pictures.  This was on a path less than 1/2 mile from the field center.  It was less than 2 hours after dark.  I think it is genus Rhinolophus, but that’s as far as I can get.  This was at Danum Valley in Sabah, Borneo.

Your bat may be a Wooly Horshoe Bat Rhinolophus luctus or a Lesser Wooly Horshoe Bat Rhinolophus sedulus. Considering the dark venter, the pointed lancet (smooth in luctus), the proheminent roof of the sella and the donw-curved tip of the sella, it’s probably Rh. sedulus.
A nice videoabout Rh. sedulus on http://vimeo.com/3082741

I think you are right that it is Rh. sedulus. I’ll check out the video next time I have a fast internet connection.
