Mongoose & Porcupines

A couple of recent blogs I’ve written that might be of interest:

Island Mongoose: Researcher Buzz Hoagland has captured thousands of non-native mongooses in the Caribbean and Hawaii. He has some interesting thoughts on what this has really meant for wildlife, and what we don’t know.

And this one I had fun writing, inspired by my earliest encounters with porcupines at Scout camp. It’s about the crazy items, both real and imagined, that porcupines eat.
