Sadly it seems very likely that the Bornean rhino is not breeding in the wild anymore as there are just too few left if any. We were in Tabin last year and caught a glimpse of Iman in her new enclosure. She had recently been removed from the wild at Danum Valley. They hoped she might be pregnant but this turned out to be cysts, she’s in a very poor reproductive state so this was a huge blow to the breeding programme. Bornean rhino alliance is a good source of info.
