New Trip Report: South Eastern Europe (The Balkans), 2016

A new, detailed, report from Vladimir Dinets covering the countries of South Eastern Europe (east of Slovenia and Croatia and south of Hungary through to Crete into Turkey).

The Balkans, 2016 (and some flashbacks to the early 1990s): 6 weeks and 100+ mammals including Martino’s Snow Vole, Romanian Hamster, Western Broad-toothed Mouse, Bicoloured and Etruscan Shrews, a Mediterranean Monk Seal and European Polecat.
