New Trip Report: Ethiopian Highlands 2018
Report on a week-long trip to Ethiopia. Highlights were Gelada and Hamadryas Baboons, Ethiopian Wolf, Serval, Bale Monkey and Giant Mole Rat. Trip report with photos here http://hughlansdown.com/html/home/048-ethiopian-highlands-wildlife.html
I saw lots of Ethiopian Wolves during the trip, but one looked different from the others so I’ve included a couple of photos for comparison. I wondered whether anyone has any views on whether the one with the short tail might be a hybrid?

Nice animals. You’re most likely right about the odd one, probably a hybrid. They have a problem with that in that area unfortunately.
