The Qinling Mountains, October 2005
In one week I saw Giant Panda, Golden Snubnosed Monkey, Golden Takin, Chinese Goral, Chinese Serow, Red and White Giant Flying Squirrel, Pere David's Rock Squirrel, Swinhoe's Striped Tree Squirrel, Mole Shrews, Chinese Jumping Mice a Confucian Nivenventer and a Chevrier's Field Mouse.

Takin, Tangjiahe

Wawu Shan, 3 nights in April 2009. Complex-toothed Flying Squirrel, Perny’s Long-nosed Squirrel, South-China Field Mouse, Large-eared Field Mouse, Sichuan Chinese Vole, Pere David’s Vole, Niviventer fulvescens, Chinese Mole Shrew, Lesser Striped Shrew.

Emei Shan: 3 hours in April 2009. Tibetan Macaque.

Tangjiahe: 4 nights in April 2009. Pere David’s Rock Squirrel, Korean Field Mouse, Pearson's Horseshoe Bat, Himalayan Palm Civet, Leopard Cat, Wild Boar, Tufted Deer, Reeves Muntjak, Takin, Chinese Goral and Chinese Serow.
