Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas everyone, from a a very white Wales. I hope 2010 is ending well for you and that 2011 will be even better and full of exciting mammals of course. I’m looking forward to greeting the new year in Madagascar.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from me, as well.

A birding buddy pulled the trigger on a last minute jaunt to south Texas, I hope to pick up a Gulf Coast K-Rat or Texas Pocket Gopher to end the year. I plan on driving Laguna Atacosa NWR a few nights, maybe I’ll get lucky! Ocelot would be the highlight of a fun year of mammal watching in NA.

Merry Christmas everyone. I’m still hoping for a few new mammals this year. I added Javan Porcupine this morning and probably a few bats. On to Baluran for Bantang next.

Got back from my first trip to India on Dec 20. 9 different tigers in 3 different reserves. Those and 20 + new mammals. Trip report to follow soon. Best wishes to all for 2011.

Merry (Belated) Christmas and Happy New Years everyone.

With any luck, my first new mammal of the year will be Southern Flying Squirrel in D.C. next month
