US proposes listing Wolverine as endangered

Though if only 250 – 300 survive in the lower 48 states as it is, then its hard to understand why it isn’t already on the list.

After some quick checking, only Montana has a trapping season and has been blocked by MT courts this year. The annual take is only 5, so it’s not like it was terribly bad. That said, I’d prefer they were protected.
