Mammals of Madagascar Part 4

Hi people,

In the summer of 2023 I went on a birdwatching trip of five weeks, chasing as many mammals as I could! I got to a whopping 77 species of mammals, of which most were also caught on film. I will upload one video per week.

Here is part 4 (of 4):

Species depicted in part 4:

Ranomafana National Park (part 2): Greater Bamboo Lemur, Ring-tailed Vontsira, Red-bellied Lemur, Small-toothed Sportive Lemur, Major’s Long-fingered Bat.
Kianjavato Classified Forest: Eastern Sucker-footed Bat, Crossley’s Dwarf Lemur, Jolly’s Mouse Lemur.
Marojeji National Park: White-fronted Brown Lemur, Northern Bamboo Lemur (aka Sambirano Lesser Bamboo Lemur), Mittermeier’s Mouse Lemur, Red-bellied Lemur, Ring-tailed Vontsira, Silky Sifaka, Peter’s Sheath-tailed Bat.
Mantadia Forest: Indri (song only), Lowland Streaked Tenrec, Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur, Diademed Sifaka, Common Brown Lemur.
Analamazaotra Special Reserve: Goodman’s Mouse Lemur, Eastern Woolly Lemur, Indri, Grey Bamboo Lemur (aka Eastern Lesser Bamboo Lemur).
V.O.I.M.M.A. Community Reserve: Indri, Eastern Woolly Lemur, Goodman’s Mouse Lemur, Weasel Sportive Lemur.

I used the services of Patrick Richard, which I found on mammalwatching.com! I highly recommend his services! His expertise lies in finding and identifying mammals, reptiles and amphibians. He is also very good at organising your trip!

Best regards,
