
BRAZIL: Emas NP and South Pantanal July 2024
A 14 day tour exploring Emas National Park and the Southern Pantanal. 43 species of mammal recorded including 13 bat species.
Highlights include: 3 Pumas, 3 Jaguars, 1 Ocelot, 4 Maned Wolves, 10 Giant Anteaters, Lowland Tapir and 3 Armadillo species.

Yes, certainly last it seems sightings were less generally from speaking to Ana. No luck despite targeting the hotspot areas. Not sure why, unless more cats venture into the agricultural fields outside park at that time and therefore become much harder to see….
