Bach Ma Primate & Mammal Watching Tour – Trip Report #2 (September 2025)

Trip Report: We’ve just returned from another trip to Bach Ma National Park, our second tour there this month! September is proving to be a popular time for mammal watching in central Vietnam (even though weather can be tricky). This report comes from tour leader Thanh Phan, featuring our wonderful guests, Maddy and Chase from Australia.

  7. Cambodian Striped Squirrel (Tamiops rodolphii)
  8. Maritime Striped Squirrel (Tamiops maritimus)
  9. Asian Brush-tailed Porcupine (Atherurus macrourus)
  10. Indochinese Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus)
  11. Small-toothed Ferret Badger (Melogale moschata)
