North & South Pantanal, plus Emas NP

Double trip report from Brazil featuring the North & South Pantanal, plus Emas National Park in June and October 2025 which was the highlight of my South American backpacking trip!

Overall I saw 25 species of mammals (and a huge variety of >200 bird species), with most of these being incredibly unique animals that I have wanted to see for a very long time including Jaguar, Puma, Ocelot, Maned Wolf, Tapir, Armadillo and Giant Anteater!
