Join me in Uganda in October 2026

Hi everyone!

I am looking for people to join me in a mammalwatching trip to Uganda for 12 days in the beginning of October 2026 with Harrier Tours, with Harriet herself leading.

We will be visiting Murchison Falls, Kibale NP (including chimpanzee tracking), Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi Impenetrable NP (including gorilla trekking in Buhoma) and Lake Mburo.

Most of the nights will include night drive and/or walk and we will try to see 4 species of galagos, african civet, lord derby’s anomalure, east african potto and as many other nocturnal critters as we can  and during the day, apart from the trekkings,  we will search for several primate species, several mongoose species including pousargue’s mongoose, spotted necked otters and others.

Other potential rare mammals that we will try to find and have been sighted in the areas we are visiting in some reports at mammalwatching.com are  African Golden Cat, Ground, Giant and white bellied Pangolin, Serval or Aardvark among others.

For a full list of potential mammals to see, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

For reference about Uganda’s mammalwatching, as usual, please refer to Tomer’s fantastic report and i would recommend checking the report from early October 2024 by Ignacio Yufera since he went the same time of the year that we are going and it includes amazing pictures.

We are looking for 2-3 participants to join our mammal watching trip.

If you want to know further details of the trip, please contact me at ejruizrubio@gmail.com

Thank you!

Eduardo
