Join us in Thailand in Jan 2027 with Wild Encounter Thailand private trip
THAILAND IN JANUARY 2027 WITH
WILD ENCOUNTER THAILAND
Hello everyone…
I will be taking part in a mega three-week mammal tour to Thailand in January 2027 and there are two places unexpectedly available.
Organised and guided by Jirayu Ekkul and his team at Wild Encounter Thailand, it will feature some of the best wildlife destinations in the country, including Kui Buri National Park, Kaeng Krachan National Park, Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, Phu Khiao Wildlife Sanctuary, Khao Yai National Park and Khao Sok National Park, with cetacean trips at Bangkok and Khanom.
With a species list of well over a hundred for these areas, targets will include Sun and Asiatic Black Bear, melanistic Leopard, Stripe-backed Weasel, Banded Linsang, Binturong, Dhole, Malayan Tapir, Fea’s Muntjac, Eld’s Deer, Banteng, Mainland Serow, Asiatic Brush-tailed Porcupine, around a dozen primates, including two gibbons, as well as the tantalising possibility of some really rare encounters.
Indochinese Tiger, Clouded Leopard, Asiatic Golden Cat, Spotted Linsang, Greater Hog Badger, Large-toothed Ferret Badger and Sunda Pangolin are just a few of the incredibly elusive species that occur in the areas we will be exploring and we will take as many opportunities to search for them all at night with thermal imagers, both on foot and in vehicles.
The trip is being organised on a non profit basis and the costs will be shared equally between the four participants.
Please contact me directly at kczekalski@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining a small team on what will no doubt be an exciting and spectacular adventure.
