Any interest in snow leopards this October or November?
Hello all. I’m currently corresponding with a company in China that runs tours to see Snow Leopards and other mammals of the Tibetan plateau about arranging a tour either October 19th to the 26th or November 10th to the 17th, give or take a day or two depending on schedules. (I’ll be in Vietnam from October 29 to November 8 so I’m working around those days. I don’t have a lot of details yet about cost but I do have a detailed itinerary I can forward along. Because I’m also going to Vietnam I won’t be able to do any extensions on the trip though I wouldn’t mind doing a day in Beijing sightseeing if anyone is interested in that. (It seems most flights to Yushu, where the tour starts, are going to have to connect in Beijing.) The number 1, 2 and 3 targets on the trip will be Snow Leopard but, of course, you all know what else lives up there… Right now I’d like to get a feel for if I can out together a private group for this trip, otherwise I will try to squeeze myself into one of their scheduled open groups. That would not be as much fun as hanging out with mammal watching weirdos, though, so I thought I’d check here first. You can contact me at cqjohnson98@gmail.com if interested.
