Ladakh Exotic Travel was founded in 2003 by Phunchok Tsering from Ladakh. Before opening his own travel agency, Phunchok worked as a mountain, wildlife and and cultural guide for more than 10 years with many international travel agencies and speaks both English and French.
Exotic Travel has built a strong reputation with the mammalwatching community and guided multiple mammalwatching groups and individual clients on tours to Hemis National Park and beyond in search of Snow Leopards and other mammals from the Indian Himalayas including Eurasian Lynx and Pallas’s Cat. We also offer tours to other parts of India in search of Tigers, Asiatic Lions and Red Pandas.
