RFI – Istanbul

I am going to Istanbul in mid October. I hope to get to Yildiz Park for Persian Squirrel.

But does anyone have any information on potential locations for European Ground Squirrel / Souslik (Spermophilus citellus) that are relatively easily accessible from Istanbul. Ideally by public transport.
