Olinguito in Ecuador

I just read in a trip report that an Olinguito is regularly coming to the feeders at Bellavista Cloudforest Lodge at night. The west slope in Ecuador isn’t known for mammal-watching, but I saw a Western Mountain Coati near Bellavista a couple years ago and Playa De Oro has Brown-headed Spider Monkeys.

Yes, I am going to this lodge in December before heading to Cayambe Coca for Spectacled Bear and Mountain Tapir with some researchers working there. The lodge manager has confirmed that the Olinguito visits every evening and I am hoping that will still be the case in December!
