Arizona Rodents – ID required
Jean-Michel Bompar sent me photos of 3 animals he caught at – respectively – Cottonwood, Wilcox, and SE of Wilcox all in AZ. All in sandy/bushy habitat.
Would anyone venture an ID? They all appear to be the same species so far as I can tell and maybe a Peromyscus?
Sorry. I didn’t have lengths for Cottonwood.
Willcox are HB 85mm, tail 60mm
SE Wilcox are HB 65mm, tail 65mm
You will find all/more informations on my web site http://bompar-photo-nature.fr/galerie_photo/galerie3.php?vue=unique&idphoto=332&page=0&cat=39
Thank you very much for your help
Than it’s probably P. leucopus as well, although the color looks more like P. maniculatus. I’ll have to give it a better look when I get home in June.

The first one looks like P. eremicus, the second one like P. leucopus. What was the tail length of the third one?
Also, there are a few spp. along the Mexican border that I don’t remember that well.
