Greetings, I am on sabbatical this semester (woohoo!!) and I have decided that I really really want to search for pumas. It looks like Torres del Paine is the most well-known location. I poked around on the forum already and am interested in any additional information anyone can tell me. I sent a message to wayajapuma. Who has been there since the rules changed that now restrict off road travel? Any information will be appreciated. John Van Niel

I have this query as well – planning to visit in Feb 2018
Hi John. If you are interested in pumas specifically you might want to consider Paraguay. We saw three there on a two-week trip in April, 2015, including one at extremely close range. Rob Foster, one of my companions on the trip, has posted a report on this website. Please feel free to contact me at ibtson@yahoo.com if you have any further questions.
Regards, Ian Thompson
Same query here, looking to visit March or November/December 2018
