Taipei and around, 2018: Vladimir Dinets, 4 days and species including Chinese Ferret Badger, Crab-eating Mongoose and Great Roundleaf Bat.

    More on the flying squirrels: they’ve been originally described as ssp. grandis of red flying squirrel, and they are, indeed, huge, but they have grizzled upperparts typical for Indian, although it is variable (I looked at a few mounted specimens in museums).
