Mammalwatching meeting 2022

Hello mammalwatchers!

We are Felis, a NGO founded by mammalwatchers, dedicated to small cat conservation. We are also organizing the 1st international mammalwatching meeting in Spain. The primary aim of the meeting is to discuss how the mammalwatching community can contribute best to protect the wildlife we love, while we also search for some of Europe’s most iconic species such as Bear, Wolf and Desman.

When: 30. September to 05. October
Where: in Villanueva & Picos de Europa, Spain

For some reason i can’t upload our flyer here but you can download it here: https://www.projectfelis.org/mammalwatching. The flyer contains our program and the informations for the meeting.

We would like to emphasize that this is not an organized mammal tour, but primarily a meeting. Of course we have planned as much mammalwatching as possible but keep in mind that there will be quite a few of us and the priority for the Villanueva part is discussing how we can contribute to conservation with mammalwatching, as well as many other topics around mammalwatching.

If you would like to take part, please fill in the registration form via this link: https://www.projectfelis.org/mammalwatching
After we have received the registration form, we will contact you and confirm the booking. After that you will be able to finalize the booking by paying the administrative costs of €100 per person on the same page (https://www.projectfelis.org/mammalwatching).
Only after receiving both the form and the payment your registration will be complete.

The administrative fee will cover material expenses directly related to the meeting. Just like everything else we do in our NGO, we organize this meeting in our free time, so bear with us if some answers may take a bit longer, we hope everything will go smoothly. It’s going to be “first come, first serve”.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

We are already looking forward to meeting many of you soon!

The Felis team
