New Trip Report: Sri Lanka 2022

Here’s a short report of a great trip with some excellent photos. Sri Lanka continues to deliver: is there a more reliable place anywhere now to see a wild pangolin?

Sri Lanka, 2022: John Weir, 3 weeks & 62 species including Rusty-spotted Cat, Fishing Cat and Indian Pangolin.

    I should just like to say that it was a pleasure to have organised John Weir’s trip to Sri Lanka in early 2022. John was very fortunate in the wealth of sightings he had, ably guided by Uditha.

    We hope you enjoy reading about the huge variety of wildlife to be seen there, especially the mammals.

    Photos of the hybrid cats would be useful to use as a barometer for identification
