Tanzania Eastern Arc

Hi all

I’m just starting to vaguely think about a mammal watching/birding trip to Tanzania’s eastern arc, probably in August or September of 2026 for about a month. Anyone done it independently and have any tips, comments on how difficult you found it, recommendations? I have read the reports on here but any additional information would be much appreciated.
