Advertising: Congo River Basin Cruise and Gabon with Chalo Africa, July 2026

Chalo Africa are running two tours in July 2026. The are cruising down th Congo River again from Congo BrazZaville to the DRC via the Central African Republic from July 3 -20, with many great mammals on the itinerary including Lowland Gorillas and Bonobos. The trip includes three nights at spectacular Sangha Lodge and three in Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park.

The cruise is bookended by an option to join a 9 day safari to Gabon in search of Mandrills and much more, that can be taken as either a pre or post-tour extension.

Cruise passengers will be guided by mammal gurus Zarek Cockar and Keith Barnes.
