RFI Botswana July/August 2026

I am seeking advice on booking a trip to Botswana in July or August of 2026. I have been looking around online and read the trip reports posted to this website. There is no shortage of options, but was hoping to hear from someone who can make some recommendations for itineraries and guides/tour companies based on recent first hand experiences.

I would be traveling with my partner. She and I have been to Africa a few times (including South Africa). We are looking for a wildlife focused trip and want more than the Big 5 but not hard core rarity chasing. All the tours I am seeing seem to spend so little time in the Delta. Is that because of expense or because they are catering to people that only need to experience it for a day and then move on?

I appreciate any leads or tips. John Van Niel

You can spend how many days you want in the delta.
You just book your lodge where you want to stay as many days you want.

I used this company two times for my Botswana trip: https://www.safarispecialists.net/
They can set up you itinerary, flights and lodges whatever your preferences are.
