Madagascar Nov/Dec 2025

Hello!

I recently ran another Enigmatic Wildlife Tour for Tropical Birding this past November/December (https://www.tropicalbirding.com/africamadagascarenigmatictour). It was an epic and productive trip, with us seeing a total of 51 mammal species. Some of the trip highlights were Fossa, Boky-boky, Ring-tailed Vontsira, Golden-crowned Sifaka, Aye-Aye, Common Tenrec, Malagasy Giant Jumping Rat, Coquerel’s Giant Mouse Lemur, Indri, Diademed Sifaka Western Sheath-tailed Bat and Golden Trident Bat. While we saw many mammals, we also saw nearly 100 bird species and 46 reptiles species. The list at the end of the report includes all animals we saw and identified along the trip.
