A Liberian Mammal Survey and Record of a Cryptic Genet Species

A short note was published about a mystery genet captured on a camera trap in Liberia. The authors couldn’t determine if it was a king genet (Genetta poensis), pardine genet (Genetta pardina) or Bourlon’s genet (Genetta bourloni). Previous surveys of the location have confirmed pardine and Bourlon’s genets. Since king genet is one of the Lost Species, I thought this note may be of interest to the community. You can find the note on ResearchGate: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/414166368_A_Liberian_Mammal_Survey_and_Record_of_a_Cryptic_Genet_Species
