Advertising: Searching for the Sumatran Tiger with Original Nature this June

Original Nature are running a trip to one of the best and wildest parks in Southeast Asia: Gunung Leuser in northern Sumatra from June 13-29, 2023

350 species of birds, 194 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 129 of Sumatra’s 205 species of mammals live in this spectacular national park. Its rainforest is considered the last stronghold for a number of endangered mammals, including possibly the last viable populations of Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii), Sumatran Tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae), Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) and Sumatran Rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis sumatrensis).
