Advice for Tour in Bolivia

Hi,

Just booked a tour to Jaguarland in early August. Being in Bolivia we would like to explore more of the land. The operators we talked to seem thou to be fully booked. Anybody have good experience of a local guide in Santa Cruz that can guide us a week or two. Beside mammals, landscape, birds and mammals are of interest.

Many thanks,

Svante

Hi! I did the Jaguar Land/Kaa Iya tour last year through Royal Safaris, which was actually done by Nick’s Adventures. I’m assuming Nick’s is who you are booking through, as well? Anyway, the guide that tooks us there was an independent guide named Hugo and he was one of the best guides I’ve ever had, full stop. His email is santacruzhugo@gmail.com. He’s good for all critters. Our focus was for mammals but he’s even more of an expert on birds. Really, though, he’s just an excellent all round naturalist. Good luck on your trip!
