Baja California Sur trip report (June 2026)

I spent 10 days in Baja California Sur back in June, looking for many special mammals of the peninsula as well as islands of the Gulf of California. Here’s a report of trip, featuring 36 mammal species including Black Jackrabbit, San Jose Brush Rabbit, Insular Kangaroo Rat, Cerralvo Pocket Mouse, Fishing Myotis, and several Ringtails.
