Custom Vietnam Primate & Mammal Expedition – October 2025 (feat. Owston’s Civet, Southern White-cheeked Gibbon, Northern Pygmy Slow Loris and more)
Last month, we had a special 7-day mammal and primate watching trip through Central and Northern Vietnam. The trip was highly successful (one of our BEST ever!), with key mega rarities species including Owston’s Civet, Southern White-cheeked Gibbon, Northern Pygmy Slow Loris, plus the entire collection of usual primates encountered on this route.
In total, we recorded 25 mammal species (10 primates & 15 other mammals) in 7-days along with a large range of endemic birds and reptiles.
This trip was lead by both Thanh Phan and Huy Chu, two of our core lead guides from Da Nang who run majority of our specialist primate tours in this part of the country.
