Exploring the Northern & Southern Pantanal and the Cerrado of Emas

Part Three of my summer expedition in Brazil, Chile and Ecuador. This segment highlights over two weeks spent exploring Emas National Park as well as Encontro das Aguas State Park in the Northern Pantanal. Also in this report are a few days in Pousada Aguape in the Southern Pantanal. Pouso Alegre was also visited. This trip netted some 37 mammal species. The mammal sightings included all of the normal actors and some very nice sightings of most. Over a dozen Jags, at least that many Tapirs and 7 or 8 Maned Wolves! Enjoy!
