Ibex in Dolomites (vs Gran Paradiso)

I am tentatively planning a winter trip (Feb 2024) to Italy to photograph ibex. Dolomites would be better for me to access, but are there reliable spots to see them there? (I want to be relatively close for good photos). If not I am willing to go to Gran Paradiso, where I believe they are more reliable.

    Hi Fred! Dolomites are not a good place of Ibex, they are sparse and rare (probably due to lack of suitable winter cliffs). For photos nothing is better than Gran Paradiso, where they are extremely tame. Stelvio is another good place but too much snow in winter. Good luck!
