Info and/or Guide in Uzbekistan?
I’m likely heading to Uzbekistan next May to lead a birding tour and I’m hoping to see some mammals ahead of the trip. Does anyone have info or know a guide for mammal watching out of Samarkand? I know sand cat is probably impossible, but interested in wolves, steppe cat, goitered gazelle, and corsac fox. It doesn’t seem to be popular for mammal watching so I haven’t been able to find much info on a guide or company that could help.

Machiel Valkenberg from Rubythroat Birding Tours provided me with good service (check out their website for details). We are yet to run the tour but the comms etc have been good to date and he was recommended by someone of good repute.
