Leopard Seals in Tierra del Fuego November or December 2026.

Looking for 1-3 people to join short trip to see Leopard Seals in Tierra del Fuego in November or December(Same guide Jon used).

Tour description
The tour starts from Ushuaia, with a long (approximately 7 to 8 hours) land transfer to Estancia Lago Fagnano, where we will spend the three nights, and get ready for the boat trips of the following days. Along the way we will have great chances of seeing plenty of Guanacos, both in the steppe and in the Patagonian Forest, Magellanic Tuco-tucos, the locally introduced South American Grey Fox, and the scarcer Fueguian subspecies of Culpeo Fox. Andean Condors are plentiful in the Patagonian Steppe. All this fauna and contrasting landscapes will make for a relatively pleasant trip, despite the long hours.
On the second day of the tour, we will have our first boat trip to Parry Fiord from Caleta María. We book two consecutive dates for this activity so that we are covered if there is bad weather on one of the days, or if the Leopard Seal search gets more challenging than usual and we need a second chance to find them or to improve our sightings. We will spend the day looking for these seals from the boat, near the front of different marine glaciers, surrounded by an astonishing landscape. If we are successful in our first navigation day, we can use the second one to approach a breeding colony of Southern Elephant Seals in Jackson Bay.
The fourth and last day, we will travel back to the city of Ushuaia, in Argentina, where this tour ends.
