Mammals of Madagascar Part 3 (of 4)

Hi people,

In the summer of 2023 I went on a birdwatching trip of five weeks, chasing as many mammals as I could! I got to a whopping 77 species of mammals, of which most were also caught on film. I will upload one video per week.

Here is part 3 (of 4):

Species depicted in part 3:

Ankarafantsika National Park (visit number two): Coquerel’s Sifaka, Grey Mouse Lemur, Golden-brown Mouse Lemur (presumed), Western Woolly Lemur.

Mossa’s Park, near Ifaty: Grey-brown Mouse Lemur, Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec.

Reniala, near Ifaty: Petter’s Sportive Lemur.

Zombitse National Park: Zombitse Sportive Lemur (aka Hubbard’s Sportive Lemur), Grey Mouse Lemur, Verreaux’s Sifaka.

Anja Community Reserve: Ring-tailed Lemur.

Ranomafana National Park: Golden Bamboo Lemur, Peyrieras’ Sportive Lemur, Red-fronted Brown Lemur, Milne-Edward’s Sifaka, Rufous Mouse Lemur, Spotted Fanaloka, Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur.

I used the services of Patrick Richard, which I found on mammalwatching.com! I highly recommend his services! His expertise lies in finding and identifying mammals, reptiles and amphibians. He is also very good at organising your trip!

Best regards,
