Mammalwatching Award Season – get your nominations in this week!

Dear all

Can I remind you that there will be a mammalwatching community meeting online on Saturday during which we will be shortlisting 2025 reports for the annual NUTTER awards.

More details on both the meeting and how you can nominate reports (whether or not you attend) is here. So please do register your nominations as comments here, to Felis or via the link (there have been some excellent reports in the very last days of 2025).

The categories are

  • Best report
  • Most inspiring conservation project/person/place visited
  • Best first report
  • Outstanding guide
  • Best and worst mammalwatching moment
  • Best exploration (new site, country or place for excellent species)
  • Services to mammalwatching
  • Best photography in a report
