Papua New Guinea and Indonesia in 1 month
Hello all, this is kind of a crazy question but I’m looking for anyone who might be interested in joining me for a Papua New Guinea (and potentially some Indonesia) mammalwatching/birding/herping trip in September. So far I’m planning on trekking Mt. Giluwe, staying at Kumul Lodge, and then heading to Manus and potentially New Britain. Having a second person would be extremely helpful for any/all of this trip, especially Kumul Lodge, and Manus to cut down on costs. I still haven’t fully planned PNG so I’m still looking for any other more budget friendly spots to hit up while I’m already in the country if anyone knows any.
After PNG, I’m planning on doing either Java or the Lesser Sundas on a budget if anyone would be interested in either of those. I’d also be down for any other part of SE Asia or Oceania as long as it can be done on a pretty tight budget. I’ll have about 1.5 months between PNG and my next obligation in West Papua.
