Request for (killer) photos for Habitats of Africa book

Dear Mammal Photographers,

We are busy finishing up text for a book called Habitats of Africa to be published by Princeton University Press next year hopefully. We are planning to illustrate it with great images and I am a little bored with seeing photos of buffaloes and lions in books like this and would love to feature more of the unusual critters of Africa to make the book a whole lot more interesting. I have given a wishlist of mammalian whack jobs (below). I am looking for pretty good publication quality pics rather than record shots. If any of you have any of these we can offer credit for both the photographer and their institution (next to the image) in addition to a very modest payment – we have a budget that will be divided amongst contributors. If you have something below that you think works, please write to me at keith@tropicalbirding.com

Cheers

Keith
