Director of Conservation Planning and Measures at WWF-US. Educational background and early career focused on Geology and Hydrologic Engineering, now educated and experienced as a conservation biologist. Passion for SCUBA diving, birds, and general natural history – happy observing all forms of natural life. Have led marine, terrestrial, and freshwater, spatial and strategic conservation planning efforts for WWF on all continents since 1999. Also the Global Coordinator for the Conservation Coaches Network and works with the Coordination Team and the globe-spanning regional networks to train and support conservation coaches all over the world to lead conservation planning using the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation.
