West Java – July 15-29 2023
Gunung Halimun NP, Carita and Ujong Kulon NP. 15 days and 25 mammals, jointly organized by Royle Safaris and Birding Bali. A great trip even though there was no Javan Rhino sighting – despite our best attempts. Highlights were all 4 west Javan primates including Javan Slow Loris and photographing the seldom recorded Gray-cheeked Flying Squirrel. Understand that as of January 2024, Ujong Kulon is again closed to visits.
