(Yet another) short Vienna trip report

A few weeks ago I finally got around to going to see the Black-bellied (European) Hamsters or urban Vienna. This may not have been the optimal time to visit for other species, but it was a convenient time in our schedule – I’m grateful to the members of the mammal watching community who have posted on this before for making it easy to seamlessly insert some quality species into a city break! This short report also includes notes on sousliks and bats close to this very lovely city.
