Thirteen-lined Ground Squirrel, Ictidomys tridecemlineatus
I spent a few hours driving through Wisconsin in July 2019. The cemetry – in the middle of Hazel Green (close to Dubuque and the Iowa border) – was swarming with Thirteen-lined Ground Squirrels in the late afternoon. I saw a Black-tailed Jackrabbit here too.
