Just returned from a 2 week Spain trip. After 3300 K’s and 52 hours of driving we had twice an Iberian lynx, 4 times Iberian wolves and three times Cantabrian brown bears. 21 species of raptors, both sandgrouse and bustards species too. A particularly gripping report as I was leaving, having had an unsuccessful trip, just as Mike was arriving. We did have hassle from a guard, who was frankly unpleasant and we were parked legally and considerately.
