It went reasonably well under the circumstances. We got 65+ species, plus 10 more during a pre-trip to High Sierra. That was 5-10 spp. less than expected, but we had to deal with a record drought, record sea temperatures, out-of-season flash floods and hailstorms. Also got some rare behavioral observations and two slightly extralimital records. We’ll post a trip report here shortly.
