Just in case not everybody knows it, good place is also O’Reilly’s Wineyard on the road to the well-known O’Reilly’s wildlife lodge outside Brisbane. People at the lodge will tell details. In any case, early morning, drive to the farm, park, go past the house short distance on the grass lawn to the left, to the bank of a stream. Watch for ripples on water and also Little Pied Cormorants which like to follow foraging Platypus. Don’t go to far, because part of the bank is marked off limits for privacy of the neighbors. I saw it there 2 years ago.

Another place is some road bridge at Eugnella NP, but I didn’t get there.
