Free Mammal Watching! – anyone interested in a weekend looking at bears in Slovenia and Croatia

If anyone would like to spend a weekend watching bears in Croatia and Slovenia then read on….

I was invited on this study tour, which promotes responsible bear watching in Slovenia and Croatia. Unfortunately I cannot  make the weekend, from 4 – 6 September, and don’t know much more than what is in the flyer.  Though I have been to Risnjak National Park and it is a lovely place.

But I offered to try to find a replacement from the mammalwatching.com community.  So, if you are interested please let me know and I can support your application to attend, so long as you promise to write a trip report afterwards. The tour is for journalists and tourism types, so if you have written trip reports already on the site it is going to help make the case you should be invited.

The weekend is free though you would need to make your own way to Slovenia.

    Hi Jon
Definitely keen to give this a go – looks like ai could even get flights to line up perfectly for work! Is there anything I need to do other than email them?
    Cheers
