Anyone want to join me in Sichuan & Yunnan next spring?

THIS TRIP IS NOW FULL

I’m organising a trip to China from 26 March – 6 April 2020 and there one space has opened up to fill our group of 4.

We will visit Sichuan for a week to look for the usual suspects there on the classic Tangjihae – Rouergai – Labahe circuit. Species like Chinese Desert and Pallas’s Cat, Asian and Hog Badgers, Tibetan FoxGolden Takin, Serow, GoralTufted Deer , Golden Snub-nosed Monkey and Tibertan Macaque and whatever else we can find large and small. Then we head down to Yunnan for the (easy to see) Yunnan Snub Nosed Monkeys and the recently described (and harder to find) Hoolock “Skywalker” Gibbons.  Let me know if you are interested in joing and I can give you some more details jon@mammalwatching.com

    Hi Jon
I wish I could join and go there again 🙂 knowing how great Sichuan is but we were there just last April and were lucky to see all your targeted mammals (don’t know if you had a chance to read our trip report). Just good luck with Golden Snub-nosed monkeys given the recent stop of operation in Fopin. I know they can be seen in Tangjiahe but this is not easy there…
I wish you a great and successful trip next year especially for the Yunnan part that sounds exciting !
